WHEELCHAIR CLINIC
We are proud to be Rhode Island's largest wheelchair clinic and understand how difficult it can be to coordinate accessible transportation to attend appointments. With adaptABLE, the evaluating therapist can assess in the home or in the clinic with the patient's preferred vendor.
CONSULTING SERVICES
AdaptABLE provides multidisciplinary consultative services to day-habilitation programs, schools, group homes, and corporate settings on a case-by-case basis. These services include but are not limited to obtaining mobility, seating, positioning, and communication equipment as well as the associated training, and completing evaluations for implementing a therapy plan of care.
EQUIPMENT MONITORING
For programs or facilities with multiple individuals using specialty equipment, we will take full inventory of existing and needed items. This service is customizable and may additionally include initiating repairs, modifications, and re-orders depending on client needs. We work with the preferred vendor of individual clients.

ABOUT US
At AdaptABLE we have been working to bridge gaps in care for individuals with disabilities from the start. Through our wheelchair clinic, we bring the assessment to the patient to reduce accessibility and transportation barriers, and are thrilled to be in our new, expanded evaluation space for those being seen in clinic. We assess for specialty equipment including wheelchairs, transfer lifts, hygiene systems, gait trainers, standing frames, and more. Our therapists are dedicated to completing comprehensive evaluations to write detailed Letters of Medical Necessity for insurance approval of the recommended equipment. Each individual is has unique abilities and needs, and we strive to find the perfect match.
